Education Trailblazers empowers higher education leaders to plan and optimize their use of Salesforce for Education. Our team is uniquely qualified, with experience dating back to the formation of the higher—ed community of users in Salesforce.

Meet Our Leaders

Kathleen Lueckeman
Founder and Chair

Kathy is the founder of Education Trailblazers LLC and the chair of the board of Education Trailblazers Association, a nonprofit organization that provides training and collaboration opportunities to universities that use Salesforce.

Kathy has implemented Salesforce across the student lifecycle and as a student information system at Unity Environmental University. She previously implemented Salesforce for Olivet Nazarene University, Maryville University, and Wayne State University.

At Maryville, she was the lead PI for a Salesforce.org Force for Change Grant, which funded the Enterprise Application Solution for Yield (EASY) open-source solution, provided at no charge to the community.

A pioneer in the higher education industry using Salesforce, Kathy founded the Salesforce Higher Education Advisory Council and founded and hosted the first Education Summit. She is the Higher Education User Group Co-Leader, moderator of Higher Ed Office Hours, and Co-Leader of several Salsforce Open Source Community Sprint projects.

Kathy was named Salesforce MVP in Spring 2013 - the first higher education MVP, and she was awarded Salesforce’s highest community award, the Golden Hoodie at Dreamforce in 2022.

Amir Tejani
President

Amir is the president of Education Trailblazers LLC. He brings more than 20 years of experience in higher education with a career focused around strategic planning, business development, and program innovation. His leadership has spanned roles such as Chief Innovation Officer at Moravian University, where he launched a School of Professional Studies and Innovation and strategic positions at Lafayette College and Lehigh University, where he drove institutional growth and advanced technology integration, including serving as a lead Salesforce administrator for the Office of Economic Engagement. 

Amir has presented at industry-leading events such as Dreamforce and the Salesforce Higher-Ed Summit, showcasing his thought leadership in higher education technology. He has previously served on Salesforce’s Higher Education Advisory Council and was an original member of the team that helped launch Salesforce’s Connected University project. 

Amir resides in Pennsylvania with his wife, Jess, and their young son, Tobin. Outside of his professional endeavors, he enjoys savoring good bourbon, playing table tennis, and spending quality time with his family. His passion for fostering innovation and building meaningful partnerships positions Education Trailblazers as a transformative force in the higher education sector.
